I upgrade my fedora 12 to fedora 14 by the help of preupgrade, after upgrade my os returns to F14 but yum doesnt work properly.When ı upgrade yum from repository ı get a messsage lke this; rpm -i > rpm -i yum-3.2.28-3.fc14.noarch.rpm Don't use "rpm -i", this does install which is not what you want. The problem you have hit, I think, is that the version of yum you had in Fedora 12 (from updates) is newer than the version of yum in Fedora 14 (or Fedora 13). This shouldn't happen, but it has. The way to downgrade via. rpm is to run: rpm -Uvh --oldpackage yum-3.2.28-3.fc14.noarch.rpm
