Description of problem: Mousepad seems to only to perform exactly one search. For example, open mousepad, enter some text. Press Ctrl-F (or select Search->Find from the menu) and enter the search term. The search is executed as expected, F3 works fine. Open the search dialog again (i.e., Ctrl-F again) and try to enter some other text in it - only "Cancel" option is enabled in the dialog box. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mousepad-0.2.16.2.fc12 (the latest available on F14 at the moment) How reproducible: Always. Additional info: I'm running XFCE in case this matters.
This looks like it might up upstream bug: http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5831 I'll look at seeing if we can use that upstream commit to fix this. Thanks for your report!
Can you try this scratch build and confirm it fixes the issue: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2570886
