Xorg.0.log: successful login with attaching DisplayPort after login on VGA, Xorg.1.log: unsuccessful with DisplayPort attached during startup

Description of problem:

This setup previously worked on F13 and F12, although each had issues until several patches after the GA, so I consider this a regression. I have a Lenovo X200 with 8GB RAM and a Ultrabase docking station with two monitors--one hooked up to the VGA port and another to the DisplayPort port with a DisplayPort to DVI cable. When I boot into Fedora 14 with the lid of the laptop closed, the startup Fedora screen displays mirrored to both monitors through the LUKS password stage and right until the Fedora logo glows at the end of startup (expected behavior). However, instead of getting the expected background and login screen, X fails and I end up with a blinking cursor on a black background. ALT-F2 allows text login, but all attempts to start X fail. Only solution is to reboot with the DisplayPort unplugged, wait until the login screen appears, and then plug the DisplayPort back in. At that point both monitors display and everything works normally.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-2.6.35.5-48.fc14 x86_64
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.9.1-2.fc14 x86_64
xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.12.0-6.fc14.1 x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Startup laptop in docking port with lid closed, DisplayPort and VGA port both plugged in
2.
3.

Actual results:
Startup proceeds normally mirrored on both VGA and DisplayPort monitors until when login screen expected. VGA monitor loses signal, DisplayPort monitor displays cursor with black screen.

Expected results:
After startup, both monitors should have backgrounds and the VGA monitor displays the login dialog box.
