Description of problem: Powertop prints some "sh: lspci: command not found" messages at startup. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): powertop-1.13-1.fc14.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure that lspci is not installed. 2. Run powertop Actual results: Lots (~20) of "sh: lspci: command not found" messages. Expected results: No complaints about missing lspci command or at least only one proper warning, e.g. "lspci not found. Powertop won't be able to ...". Additional info: The powertop package should probably depend on the pciutils package. After displaying those messages powertop seems to work fine.
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
Thanks for report, lspci is needed. It is execed by popen in devicepm.c for construction of user friendly device names (thus not fatal if missed) and the RPM autodeps doesn't kicks it in. It should be resolved by explicit requires: +Requires: pciutils
