Description of problem: Since yesterday, clamav 0.96.1 has been producing warning messages that it is outdated. 0.96.4 was released on October 25, and 0.96.1 dates back to mid-May. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.96.1-1300.fc13 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure root's mail to go to you. 2. Allow the /etc/cron.d/clamav-update job to run. Actual results: E-mail warnings of this form every time the cron job runs: LibClamAV Warning: *********************************************************** LibClamAV Warning: *** This version of the ClamAV engine is outdated. *** LibClamAV Warning: *** DON'T PANIC! Read http://www.clamav.net/support/faq *** LibClamAV Warning: *********************************************************** Additional info: 0.96.2 was released August 12 0.96.3 was released September 20 I see that an update is in Bodhi and was pushed to testing a week ago. I'll test it and provide feedback there, but it would be nice if this could get pushed to production soon since it has started to send out disconcerting warnings to users.

Well, what I was trying to convey was that the update had been waiting for long enough that the decision to push it without waiting for 3 votes could have been made, and that since the behavior of clamav had changed such that it was spitting out disconcerting warnings, it might be appropriate to do so. In any event, the update has now been pushed, so I'll close the ticket.
