Description of problem: After Removing the agent using the JON admin console they still appear under Administration / High Availability / Agents. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): version: 2.4.0.GA build number: 10927:8fb6059 How reproducible: Remove an agent from the console it still appears under Administration / High Availability / Agents on the admin console. Steps to Reproduce: Remove the agent using the following steps 1. Connect to the JON UI (http://localhost:7080) and sign-in as an administrator user 2. Navigate to Resources -> Servers 3. Locate the RHQ Agent resource in the server resource list and place a check next to it 4. Click "Uninventory Selected" 5. Navigate to Administration ->High Availability ->Agents , this removed agents still show up. Even after removing the entire platform by following the below steps the agent still shows up under Administration ->High Availability ->Agents 1. Connect to the JON UI (http://localhost:7080) and sign-in as an administrator user 2. Navigate to Resources -> Platforms 3. Locate the Platform resource in the platform resource list and place a check next to it 4. Click "Uninventory Selected" 5. Navigate to Administration ->High Availability ->Agents , this removed agents still show up. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
An agent resource is not the same thing as an agent in the RHQ topology. Uninventorying an agent does not physically remove, or affect in any way, the actual agent.
