ok, so this is on bookmarks import? Can you try this scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2721554 and see if the problem persists there?

Package: midori-0.2.6-1.fc13 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 13 (Goddard) How to reproduce ----- 1.Go to voice.google.com 2. ??? 3.Fail Comment ----- Just tried to open the homepage of google voice.
Erik: Can you try the scratch build from comment 6?
(In reply to comment #9) > Erik: Can you try the scratch build from comment 6? Kevin: Done, and no change. It crashes as soon as I attempt to go to voice.google.com Abrt did not open. ok. Before that, could you try turning off plugins and see if that helps any? (or remove flash and java-1.6.0-openjdk-plugin)
Plugins have no effect (Still crashes). However, as the dump mentions JavaScript, if I unchecked "Enable scripts" I can navigate to the page, albeit functionality broken.
Odd. These look like 2 different crashes here... one a bookmarks import issue and another a webkit javascript bug.
I didn't choose this thread, sorry. Abrt did
I know. ;) I'll see if I can come up with any ideas here... thanks.
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
Can you try this scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2950913
This build did not crash, but hung up at the same points as before but after what now seems like a timeout it does continue on. Functionality is limited/broken; when I go to voice.google.com, it loads longer than usual and comes up with a broken inbox (as if scripts were disabled) But I manually click on "Inbox" and my inbox appears, it seems i have to click on the places (Voicemail, SMS, Contacts, etc) twice before they show up, and incorrectly at that. gdb reports nothing too unusual; This GDB was configured as "x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu". What webkitgtk do you have installed? (rpm -q webkitgtk) if you change the user agent from "midori" to "safari" does it change anything on the page?
webkitgtk-1.2.7-1.fc13.x86_64 And no behaviour change with the uagent
If you do a 'yum downgrade webkitgtk' and restart midori, does it start working as expected? I am starting to think this is a webkitgtk 1.2.7 bug...
I'm now on webkitgtk-1.2.6-2.fc13.x86_64 No change, and just to be sure I visited other JS sites and yes JS appears to be working in some places... Another broken site is slashdot.org, comments cannot be expanded as either Midori or Safari UA - have you another webkitgtk app in mind I can try to test that aspect?
Well, if you want to confirm it's a webkit rather than midori issue, try using: /usr/libexec/webkitgtk/GtkLauncher thats the default demo web app for webkitgtk. If the problem persists there, it's a webkit issue.
Bingo. Same brokenness there, but more messages in console (js-related; attempting to log in to slashdot "** Message: console message: http://a.fsdn.com/sd/all-minified.js?T_2_5_0_307a @20: TypeError: Result of expression 'af.replace' [undefined] is not a function.") At least Midori stopped crashing, thanks!
ok. So, it's a webkit issue. ;) I'll see about moving this bug over there (of course I am also the webkitgtk maintainer, so that won't matter too much :) I'll see about filing a bug on this upstream...
This message is a reminder that Fedora 13 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 13. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '13'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 13's end of life. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 13 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora please change the 'version' of this bug to the applicable version. If you are unable to change the version, please add a comment here and someone will do it for you. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete. The process we are following is described here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping
Fedora 13 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2011-06-25. Fedora 13 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
