Description Dave Sullivan 2011-01-18 22:01:10 UTC
Description of problem:

We set up a thick RHEV-H host/vdsm environment then pxe kickstarted a virtual guest to satellite/cobbler environment part to the kickstart attempts to register the guest to satellite but fails because all entitlements are used up. The client has a cert that has three "Virtualization" entitlements that should allow for 4 virtual guests per host.

The error message is that .... "Entitlements Exhausted...."

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Set up RHEV Host/RHEV-M, hooked to rhn

Add New Server under Virtual Machines/PXE boot it have satellite configured where kickstart does a registration (ours was via bootstrap.sh)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual results:

Expected results:

Additional info:

We found a workaround fix

on the rhev-h host

yum -y install rhn-virtualization-host
#and since it pulls libvirtd which is incompatible with rhev-h/vdsm
chkconfig libvirtd off

then our bootstrap.sh worked fine
