I was not able to reproduce this with 0.6.3 on Fedora 14 in a 59 char wide gnome terminal but I'm going to pass it to the developers as it does seem like a bug.
I was able to reproduce the issue with a terminal window of 59 width, 8 height.
Also an issue in identicurse-0.6.4-1.fc14 as reported by Johan Vervloet and Fabian A. Scherschel (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679740)
