I moused over an online friend's MSN entry in my Pidgin buddy list, and according to the tooltip that popped up, he was blocked. I tried talking to him, and he responded. Pidgin is set to allow all users to contact me on MSN. There don't seem to be any negative repercussions from this, but I know damn well I did not block this guy.

I tried restarting Pidgin, to see if that fixed the issue, but it didn't.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
I don't really know how to reproduce this one. I just moused over his entry on the buddy list, and it showed him as blocked. Restarting Pidgin didn't fix it. It's not happening with any of my other MSN contacts, either.
Actual Results:
Showed Solidus as blocked.

Expected Results:
Shown Solidus as unblocked.

Pidgin's privacy model is known to be quite deficient. Due to the way it has evolved, the options available are not always applicable to every protocol in use.

For MSN the only privacy options that are actually implemented are "Allow only the users below" and "Block only the users below". To get the desired result of allowing all users, I suggest you set this to "Block only the users below" and then remove any users shown in the list that you don't want blocked.

...the hell? I switched it like you said, and it showed him as in the blocked list. I know quite well I did not put him there...

Oh well. Not a bug. Thank you for pointing this out.
