Description Walt 2011-01-20 19:03:11 UTC
Summary:

SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/dnstop "create" access .

Detailed Description:

SELinux denied access requested by dnstop. It is not expected that this access
is required by dnstop and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is
also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is
causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug
report.

Comment 1 Daniel Walsh 2011-01-20 19:51:22 UTC
What is dnstop doing?

Comment 2 Miroslav Grepl 2011-01-21 09:38:02 UTC
dnstop — displays various tables of DNS traffic on your network

Also if you run this command as an ordinary user you get

pcap_open_*: refused: You don't have permission to capture on that device (socket: Operation not permitted)

I am closing this bug as WONTFIX.
