caolanm->dtardon: This looks like bug 558342 again. Looking at the changes that workspace.impress180.patch made back then to the old svx/source/dialog/numpages.cxx I don't see those changes in the new cui/source/tabpages/numpages.cxx Maybe they got lost on the migration of numpages.cxx from one location to another. Seeing as you looked after 558342 the last time, you might have a better idea than me on this one.
dtardon->caolanm: Heh, that's because that fix was subsequently fixed in workspace.impress182.patch :-) I see the new code there, so there is yet another problem with it.
dtardon->dan: (for future reference :) There are two ways to restore the removed bullet: 1. use Format->Default Formatting 2. use Bullets On/Off button on toolbar twice (it is just right to text alignment)
I played with that under valgrind and saw no problems. If you know a way to make it crash, i.e., details of the "Tried to restore bullet formatting to the line several times" step :), feel free to reopen.
