SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/python from 'search' accesses on the directory /root/.local. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that python should be allowed search access on the .local directory by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep certmaster /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:certmaster_t:s0 Target Context system_u:object_r:gconf_home_t:s0 Target Objects /root/.local [ dir ] Source certmaster Source Path /usr/bin/python Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages python-2.7-8.fc14.1 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.7-25.fc14 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Permissive Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.35.10-74.fc14.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Dec 23 16:04:50 UTC 2010 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 1 First Seen Mon 31 Jan 2011 12:27:30 AM MSK Last Seen Mon 31 Jan 2011 12:27:30 AM MSK Local ID 8bc10bb1-8273-441e-aeec-384745158cb9 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1296422850.37:14): avc: denied { search } for pid=2044 comm="certmaster" name=".local" dev=dm-0 ino=670526 scontext=system_u:system_r:certmaster_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:gconf_home_t:s0 tclass=dir type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1296422850.37:14): arch=x86_64 syscall=stat success=no exit=ENOENT a0=6bcde0 a1=7fff0c4fcb00 a2=7fff0c4fcb00 a3=29 items=0 ppid=2043 pid=2044 auid=4294967295 uid=0 gid=0 euid=0 suid=0 fsuid=0 egid=0 sgid=0 fsgid=0 tty=(none) ses=4294967295 comm=certmaster exe=/usr/bin/python subj=system_u:system_r:certmaster_t:s0 key=(null) Hash: certmaster,certmaster_t,gconf_home_t,dir,search audit2allow #============= certmaster_t ============== allow certmaster_t gconf_home_t:dir search; audit2allow -R #============= certmaster_t ============== allow certmaster_t gconf_home_t:dir search;
