hum. Why is it installing all these i686 packages? Granted it should still work, but that seems odd. Does 'yum groupinstall xfce-desktop' result in anything different? This doesn't seem like a xfwm4 bug, but more like a gdm, xfconf, exo bugs with possibly yumex in there too. ;)

Moving to yumex.
This should be fixed in current release 4.0.4 https://github.com/timlau/yumex/commit/93aec899b15a6a310f8043f65d8aecd3e2d6510d
