Description of problem: 10.2.1. Software Requirements says, "If you have not already installed the JACK packages from the Planet CCRMA at Home repository," But JACK is in genuine Fedora repository. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Mixing repositories is troublesome, as chapter 4 suggests. Expected results: Remove "from the Planet CCRMA at Home repository" Additional info:
You're right about this. This mistake is left over from when JACK from Planet CCRMA added important new features - I wasn't sure at first whether this would be included with Fedora 14, but it is, so this should be removed. I also wrote a "TO-DO" item for the future, so that all of the paragraphs telling people to install JACK will be the same. The issue is fixed in the attachment to bug 677362. Thank you again for your watchful eye!
