Description Ben Levenson 2002-06-25 15:37:31 EDT
Description of Problem:
# rpm -qpR apacheconf-0.9.0-1.noarch.rpm
python >= 2.2

# rpm -q rpmdb-redhat

# rpm -qp --provides httpd-2.0.36-4.i386.rpm
httpd = 2.0.36-4

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Additional Information:
Should httpd provide apache, or should apacheconf require webserver ....
Comment 1 Phil Knirsch 2002-06-26 03:19:03 EDT
Questions over questions.

The thing is, apacheconf up to now only does old style httpd.conf files, so it
should actually require apache.

OTOH if it can do both, it should require webserver.

Last but not least, if we decide it to only support 2.0 it should require httpd.

Will think about it. :)

Comment 2 Ben Levenson 2002-07-02 13:18:21 EDT
apacheconf-0.9.0-2 requires httpd.
So, should apacheconf be renamed to "httpdconf", or "redhat-config-httpd"?
Comment 3 Phil Knirsch 2003-01-27 10:08:54 EST
OK, all the name changes have been done.

Closing this bug now.
