Description of problem:
Display tool do not apply configuration changes.

1.run gnome-control-center display tool
2.do some configuration changes, press apply button

changes are not applied

Which version of gnome-settings-daemon do you have? What exact changes did you make to your configuration?

Could you please run 'touch ~/gsd-debug-randr' in a terminal, reproduce the problem and attach the created ~/gsd-debug-randr.log file?

Bastien, I found my problem. 

I ran gnome-control-center under root. So changes were not applied for current user.
