Description of problem:
After upgrading to 2-3-11 rawhide I'm no longer able to reach any desktop.  GDM versions:

Feb 03 16:53:18 Updated: 1:gdm-2.91.6-1.fc15.x86_64
Feb 03 16:53:48 Updated: 1:gdm-plugin-fingerprint-2.91.6-1.fc15.x86_64

The GDM menu comes up (without an option to log-into XFCE which worked yesterday) and after entering my pass the screen just goes black, no desktop ever appears.  Mouse and VT/etc switch works as normal.  Downgrading to:

Feb 03 17:49:51 Installed: 1:gdm-2.91.4-6.fc15.x86_64
Feb 03 17:49:52 Installed: 1:gdm-plugin-fingerprint-2.91.4-6.fc15.x86_64

Restores proper operation.  Don't see anything in the logs but I'll attach dmesg and messages.

As of gdm-2.91.6-5.fc15.x86_64 this issue is resolved.
