Created attachment 476960 [details] Patch for RHEL6 Description of problem: If /var/spool/anacron/cron.daily file exists anacron should be executed daily however. The check implies cron.daily to be an executable file while it's only readable. This causes anacron to be run hourly instead of daily. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cronie-anacron-1.4.4-2.el6 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run the following command after confirming /var/spool/anacron/cron.daily file exists. # sh -x /etc/cron.hourly/0anacron Actual results: anacron processes hourly.
