Description Jean-Francois Saucier 2011-02-05 15:41:44 UTC
Spec URL: http://jfsaucier.fedorapeople.org/packages/imap-upload.spec
SRPM URL: http://jfsaucier.fedorapeople.org/packages/imap-upload-1.2-1.fc14.src.rpm
Description:
IMAP Upload is a tool for uploading a local mbox file to IMAP4 server. The
most stable way to migrate to Gmail. Features include :

- Read messages stored in mbox format which is used by many mail clients
such as Thunderbird.

- Preserve the delivery time of the message.

- Automatic retry when the connection was aborted which happens frequently
on Gmail.

- Can write out failed messages in mbox format.

rpmlint give no warning/error on spec, srpm and rpm, just said the package didn't have a man page, I will try to submit this bug in upstream.

Here are the koji scratch build, they all build fine :

Note that "Google Mail" would be less ambiguous with regard to the Gmail trademark and lawsuits like this:

- A license statement in the source header would be nice. If you ask, maybe upstream will add one.
- There are many white lines in the description. Consider removing them because the graphical package management tools often only provide small areas for the description.

This two thing are no blocker just annotations.

Beside that I see no further blocker, package APPROVED

Comment 4 Jean-Francois Saucier 2011-03-31 17:29:41 UTC
Thanks a lot for the review, I will talk with upstream to add a license in the source header for the future release.

Also, I will remove the white line in the final spec as I haven't thought of graphical tools.
