Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start system-config-authentication 2. kerberos is not available for "local accounts only" setting. 3. kerberos becomes available when selecting "LDAP" or "NIS" options.
I'm sorry but this was decided as a scenario that does not fit the concept of the system-config-authentication GUI. It will still be supported by the command-line UI (authconfig --enablekrb5 and related options). This is a design document with some more information. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design/SSSD
