Description of problem:

I installed akmod in the hope it would recompile the driver for my wifi adabter, which is rt2879sta

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


Steps to Reproduce:
1.have a working rt2870 chipset, install akmod
2.do a kernel update to 2.6.35.11-83
  
Actual results:
lsmod | grep rt2870 returns nothing

Expected results:
rt2870 is loaded and enables wifi
