Description of problem: Changing the clock settings as a logged in user for example setting it to report 24 hour are not picked up by the clock displayed on the top panel in gdm Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gdm-2.91.6-6 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Login 2. Adjust the clock as a logged in user 3. Logout and check if changes are reflected Actual results: Changes are not reflected in GDM Expected results: GDM changes being pickup by GDM Additional info:

Hello, Thank you for your bug report. However, this is not actually a bug. Changing the time format inside a gnome session only affects that setting for that particular user. To change GDM to report time in 24 hour mode, add the following line in /etc/gdm/custom.conf under the [greeter] section: Use24Clock=true Hope this helps.
