Description Dan Winship 2011-02-15 18:03:49 UTC
As of bash-4.2.0-0.1.rc2.fc15, the autocompletion rules set by /etc/bash_completion.d/git are no longer handled correctly. Eg, "git checkout [TAB]" immediately completes to "git checkout checkout" rather than providing a list of branches.

(It worked in the last bash-4.1.9 package.)

Thanks for the report. I'm going to package new bash-4.2 release. We will see if it is fixed there.

bash-4.2 is now in rawhide. Can you please check it?

Comment 3 Dan Winship 2011-02-16 13:43:16 UTC
yup, 4.2 fixes it

Comment 4 Roman Rakus 2011-02-16 13:47:01 UTC
