Thank Brendan Jones for telling me how to report a Bug. I try remove and install pulseaudio* ,it's still no sound. ------------- When use previous kernel, I can't listen to music at first ,however I yum install alsa-driver and fix the problem. Then I can update the kernel, before kernel-2.6.35.11-83.fc14 ,everything is ok. But after the latest update (kernel-2.6.35.11-83.fc14),I can't listen to music.
Hi - thanks for the attachment, but you ran it under the kernel that is working if I'm not mistaken? In any case, you can try the suggestions at the bottom of https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_sound_problems 'Model parameter' in your case create a file /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf (as root) and add the line: options snd_hda_intel model=acer-aspire-4930g Reboot. If that doesn't work run alsa-info.sh again whilst running the kernel you are having problems with and attach here.. -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers
