Description of problem: stomppy-3.0.3 is available, it is already built for fc15 -> stomppy-3.0.3-2.fc15 Is it possible to build it for el5? The last available version for el5 is 2.0.4, 3.0.3 api should be the same but it is a new version compatible with python 2.x and python 3.x
Obviously python 3.x support is not needed on el5. What are benefits to the new version? Changelog shows: * Fix for localhost connection problem (issue #17) * Fixes for Oracle AQ bridge for Python3 * Change to debian style changelog I see there is also a 2.2 release as well does this have the improvements you are interested in? Steve.
Version 2.2+ is only for Python3.x The reason to update to 3.0.3 is that it will be the only maintained version.
