Turn off media-automount in Gconf tool 2. Plug in the USB 3. Actual results: USB lights up and lsusb -vv gives results in attachment. However, fdisk -l doesn't show a new disk. This device does not show a disk, because it is not a disk. I have got two of them right here and they are software protection dongles. In my case, they are activation keys for the Rhozet Carbon Coder video transcoding software, which will not run without one of these hooked to a USB port. Windows also does not show a disk. I think this bug was raised in error and can be closed. Regards, Gerben
