Description of problem: When GDM does an autologin the user can switch in the console. In this case Gnome-shell will not be loaded and user will see the old gnome-panel. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2011 Nouveau testing day Live CD. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot system until you see GDM screen. 2. Select user with autologin option. 3. Press "Login" button. 4. Before Gnome loading switch to console by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F2. 5. Wait about 10 seconds, until Gnome is loading. 6. Switch back to X session. Actual results: Gnome-shell is not started. You will see gnome-panel. Expected results: You see Gnome-shell.
