Description Max Kanat-Alexander 2011-02-26 01:26:52 UTC
ModPerl::MM is missing from the mod_perl package. In RHEL5, it was in the mod_perl-devel package, but there does not appear to be any mod_perl-devel package in RHEL6.

As a result of this bug, Bugzilla cannot run under mod_perl on RHEL6, as it requires the mod_perl-devel package in order to install a newer version of Apache::SizeLimit.

Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2011-02-26 01:57:47 UTC
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for
inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated
in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to
address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to
ask your support representative to propose this request, if
appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux. If you would like it considered as an
exception in the current release, please ask your support
representative.

Comment 3 Dave Miller 2011-02-26 02:54:06 UTC
This bug is invalid. mod_perl-devel exists in the "RHEL Server Optional" channel in RHEL6 (as do most of the -devel packages for everything now).

Yup, sorry, this has been confusing a lot of people. Let us know if you find any other problems!
