Description of problem: Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: After I got updates on Fedora 14 my hard drive in my Sony V505BL laptop has not been read correctly. It is a 250GB hard drive but fedora 14 views it as 1689TB hard drive and says the disk may have bad sectors. The hard drive works fine when I hook it up by USB connection so it has to be something internal with the software and the laptop. Additional info:
Do all F14 kernels show that issue? Are there any SMART errors in your system logs? Is there anything relevant in dmesg?
This sounds like it may be a hardware problem between the chipset and the drive (ie, a cable if present, or the connector if it's a directly plugged drive).
