How to reproduce
-----
1. Documents and impress were open when experience disorderly shutdown unrelated to openoffice
2. Reproduced crash three times when attempting to recovery files
3. Recovery prompt appeared on startup but openoffice disappears after last file is reported recovered

Most odd, I'm guessing that some image or .zip of images is missing or corrupt and somehow the imageloading singleton ends up as NULL.

Can you reproduce this ?, if you can, can I get the output of 

strace -f /usr/lib/openoffice.org3/program/soffice.bin > /tmp/strace.log 2>&1
