Description chen yuwen 2011-03-02 09:50:43 UTC
Description of problem:
v7 submit fail on ppc64.

# v7 submit
loaded results /var/v7/results.xml
writing results to /var/log/v7/v7-unknown_vendor-IBM,7998-60X-Santiago6.1_ppc64_results
building results rpm...
"rpmbuild -tb v7-results.tar.bz2 >> /var/v7/package.log 2>&1" returned 1
Error: failed to generate results rpm

Job link: https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/57089
The reason is because there is a redundance comma in the name of result rpm.

Modified the function removeBadCharactersInName() of controller.py:
     57 pattern = re.compile("[^\[\]\(\)\\\/&@]")
to
     57 pattern = re.compile("[^\[\]\(\)\\\/&@,]")

Then v7 submit PASS.

# v7 submit
loaded results /var/v7/results.xml
writing results to /var/log/v7/v7-unknown_vendor-IBM7998-60X-Santiago6.1_ppc64_results
building results rpm...
Moving the results rpm to data directory /var/v7
Warning: not removing old logs
done.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
v7-1.3-10

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install v7 on ppc64 system
2. run any tests of v7
3. run: v7 submit

Actual results:
FAIL

Expected results:
