Modified the function removeBadCharactersInName() of controller.py: 57 pattern = re.compile("[^\[\]\(\)\\\/&@]") to 57 pattern = re.compile("[^\[\]\(\)\\\/&@,]") Then v7 submit PASS. # v7 submit loaded results /var/v7/results.xml writing results to /var/log/v7/v7-unknown_vendor-IBM7998-60X-Santiago6.1_ppc64_results building results rpm... The fix above looks good to me.
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: In v7 1.3, "v7 submit" may fail on systems with a comma in system model field. This issue has been fixed in v7 1.3, now "v7 submit" can be executed successfully on such systems.
