Removed a bunch of packages I think I won't ever need after a default F-14 setup (transmission wasn't one of those), then did some checks like 

   rpm -qf /usr/share/* | grep " not "

and ditto for some other dirs like /etc and /usr/lib* to manually clean up cruft that was or would have been left behind.
