SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/mission-control-5 from 'create' accesses on the file accounts.cfg.6P6MRV. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that mission-control-5 should be allowed create access on the accounts.cfg.6P6MRV file by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep mission-control /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:xdm_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Context system_u:object_r:admin_home_t:s0 Target Objects accounts.cfg.6P6MRV [ file ] Source mission-control Source Path /usr/libexec/mission-control-5 Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages telepathy-mission-control-5.6.1-1.fc14 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.7-31.fc14 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Feb 7 07:06:44 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 1 First Seen Wed 02 Mar 2011 11:04:39 AM PST Last Seen Wed 02 Mar 2011 11:04:39 AM PST Local ID 3c3bdb78-1c78-43a9-9ad6-166cdb3387af Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1299092679.179:9): avc: denied { create } for pid=2077 comm="mission-control" name="accounts.cfg.6P6MRV" scontext=system_u:system_r:xdm_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tcontext=system_u:object_r:admin_home_t:s0 tclass=file type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1299092679.179:9): arch=x86_64 syscall=open success=no exit=EACCES a0=eb06b0 a1=c2 a2=1b6 a3=2f73746e756f6363 items=0 ppid=2076 pid=2077 auid=4294967295 uid=0 gid=0 euid=0 suid=0 fsuid=0 egid=0 sgid=0 fsgid=0 tty=(none) ses=4294967295 comm=mission-control exe=/usr/libexec/mission-control-5 subj=system_u:system_r:xdm_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 key=(null) Hash: mission-control,xdm_t,admin_home_t,file,create audit2allow #============= xdm_t ============== allow xdm_t admin_home_t:file create; audit2allow -R #============= xdm_t ============== allow xdm_t admin_home_t:file create;
