Created attachment 482427 [details] dmesg Description of problem: Since updating to kernel-2.6.38-0.rc6.git6.1.fc15.x86_64 my systemm have had a about 20 second delay from grub to something is printed to screen. Even if I remove quiet and rhgb from the kernelcmd there is no sign of life from the computer during this time apart from a blinking cursor and my HDD led going crazy. I tried out kernel-2.6.38-0.rc7.git2.3.fc15.x86_64 from koji, but the delay is still there. Booting kernel-2.6.38-0.rc6.git4.1.fc15.x86_64 has no delay. Another strange part is that I cannot see any apparent stuff in dmesg, and the 15 second delay does not seem to be there either. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-2.6.38-0.rc6.git6.1.fc15.x86_64 kernel-2.6.38-0.rc7.git2.3.fc15.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade to kernel-2.6.38-0.rc6.git6.1.fc15.x86_64 2. Reboot Actual results: from grub to dmcrypt takes about 25-30 seconds Expected results: from grub to dmcrypt takes at most 5 second.
