How to reproduce
-----
1. go in control-center to "keyboard" and to the shortcuts-tab
2. chose to change any existing shortcut you wish
3. press a letter key, for example "e"

That should now work nicely in 2.91.91, which contains loads of bug fixes to the keyboard panel.
