I suspect that the root cause is a misdeclaration of the xpm_font pixmap
in line 2 of file bitmap1.h - three colors are declared but only two used:
"5 24 3 1" should read "5 24 2 1".
I cannot reproduce the crash (on my non-fedora systems), but the above change
fixes a suspicious warning from valgrind - somebody please confirm.
