ibm java is shipped async, when an security update is provided. Last release from rhel 6 should be avaiable for rhel 6.1
------- Comment From Subrata Modak subrata@linux.vnet.ibm.com 2011-03-14 05:30 EDT------- (In reply to comment #7) > ibm java is shipped async, when an security update is provided. Last release > from rhel 6 should be avaiable for rhel 6.1 Do you mean to say that we can pickup IBM JAVA packages from RHEL6.0-ga and test the same on RHEL6.1-Alpha ? Regards-- Subrata
That's a compose "issue". However, the latest available package will eventually be included in later betas / snapshots / RCs; I even have a ticket with rel-eng where I requested a refresh of the Supplementary trees. They just aren't updated as often as they could be.
------- Comment From tpnoonan@us.ibm.com 2011-03-15 16:52 EDT------- please consider as exception for rhel6.1
java-1.6.0-ibm-1.6.0.9.0-1jpp.5.el6 will be in the 6.1 Beta. Is that the correct version?
