Description Andrew Hecox 2011-03-15 15:35:38 UTC
we're in the process of writing a java client for the retrace-server, but the compression format used, xz, has no common library. In theory, we don't really want to compress the archive at all, since this is all happening within the same data center.

We'd like to see plain tar format supported; gzip archives might also be helpful, but is less critical.

The latest version of Retrace Server supports plain .tar archives, .tar.gz archives and .tar.xz archives.
