Description of problem: Banshee's "Now Playing" page has a fullscreen mode. Selecting this causes the workspaces to go black, while the cursor remains visible. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.9.5 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start banshee and begin playing a music track 2. Select "Now Playing" from the left-hand library pane 3. Click on the "Fullscreen" button in the upper right Actual results: Screen turns black. The cursor is visible. Switching workspaces, you see app windows and background during transition, but all workspaces are black after transition. Activities overlay works properly, but banshee cannot be closed using the button on the overlay thumbnail. Alt+F2 dialog works properly, running "killall banshee-1" kills banshee, and workspaces are properly visible again. Expected results: The Now Playing page should expand to full screen, displaying album art and track info. Cursor movement should reveal "Exit Fullscreen" button. Additional info:
Which window manager have you running / which desktop environment do you use?
This is running Gnome 3/Mutter. Clean Fedora 15 Alpha DVD install with updates-testing enabled. ATI M880G (Mobility Radeon HD 4200) video chipset.
With latest updates as of 4/21 (including update of banshee to 2.0), this is no longer an issue. Now Playing goes to fullscreen properly. Changing workspaces quits fullscreen and displays workspaces properly.
