Assigning to firstboot in case it's a known issue with the X launcher... otherwise it will likely move to X itself.

Comment 2 Martin Gracik 2011-03-21 11:19:10 UTC
Please attach the Xorg log.

Comment 3 xalos-web 2011-03-21 18:45:37 UTC
I can't give the log.
I have re-install and I don't have this error I don't understand why ?

Comment 4 xalos-web 2011-03-21 21:13:44 UTC
I have made an other re-install and the error is come back.
I have install with select the fedora-alpha repository and testing-update-repository in the install menu and I have the error.
If they are not selected the system boot with no problem and I can access to firsboot menu.

But how to find the Xorg log and how access to it ?

Comment 5 Martin Gracik 2011-03-22 09:19:05 UTC
With alpha and testing repositories enabled, I can't even install fedora now.

The Xorg log is in /var/log/X.[0-9].log

Comment 7 Martin Gracik 2011-03-22 09:21:08 UTC
I'm sorry, it's /var/log/Xorg.[0-9].log

Comment 10 Martin Gracik 2011-03-23 06:45:27 UTC
This looks like a problem with the graphic drivers.

Comment 11 xalos-web 2011-03-23 10:02:30 UTC
I have made an error about my graphic card it'an ATI radeon HD 6970, sorry !

Comment 12 Matěj Cepl 2011-03-23 10:09:15 UTC
From /var/log/Xorg.0.log:

(EE) RADEON(0): Chipset: "AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series" (ChipID = 0x6718) requires
KMS
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Could you, please, add drm.debug=0x04 to the kernel command line, restart
computer, and attach

* your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf, if available),
* X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log; don't you have /var/log/Xorg.0.log?)
* output of the dmesg command, and
* system log (/var/log/messages)

to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the
bugzilla file attachment link above.

We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this
information.

Thanks in advance.

Comment 15 xalos-web 2011-03-23 13:06:23 UTC
I have no xorg.conf.
I'm not sure if the kernel argument have worked how te be sure of that ?
And I can't enter any command because the boot stop here :
Starting LSB: Daemon to access a smart card using PC/SC failed, see 'systemctl
status pcscd.service' for details.

Comment 16 Dave Airlie 2011-05-27 07:55:29 UTC
