Hi, After the installation on Fedora 15 Alpha 1 x86_64 (with dvd install) the system can't boot. I have this error: Starting Wait for plymouth Boot Sreen to Quit... firstboot ERROR: Xserver failed to start Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/sbin/firstboot", line 168, in <module> config.frontend.start() File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/firstboot/xfrontend.py" , line101 in start raise RntimeError, "X server failed to start" RuntimeError: Xserver failed to start Starting firstboot configuration programm (graphical mode) failed, see 'systemctl status firstboot-graphical.service' for details. Assigning to firstboot in case it's a known issue with the X launcher... otherwise it will likely move to X itself.
Please attach the Xorg log.
I can't give the log. I have re-install and I don't have this error I don't understand why ?
I have made an other re-install and the error is come back. I have install with select the fedora-alpha repository and testing-update-repository in the install menu and I have the error. If they are not selected the system boot with no problem and I can access to firsboot menu. But how to find the Xorg log and how access to it ?
With alpha and testing repositories enabled, I can't even install fedora now.

The Xorg log is in /var/log/X.[0-9].log
I'm sorry, it's /var/log/Xorg.[0-9].log

This looks like a problem with the graphic drivers.
I have made an error about my graphic card it'an ATI radeon HD 6970, sorry !
From /var/log/Xorg.0.log: (EE) RADEON(0): Chipset: "AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series" (ChipID = 0x6718) requires KMS (EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration. Could you, please, add drm.debug=0x04 to the kernel command line, restart computer, and attach * your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf, if available), * X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log; don't you have /var/log/Xorg.0.log?) * output of the dmesg command, and * system log (/var/log/messages) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link above. We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information. Thanks in advance.
Created attachment 487027 [details] Xorg.9.log With drm.debug=0x04 It's the only Xorg log I don't have Xorg.1.log or other except this one .
Created attachment 487033 [details] /var/log/messages after drm.debug=0x04
I have no xorg.conf. I'm not sure if the kernel argument have worked how te be sure of that ? And I can't enter any command because the boot stop here : Starting LSB: Daemon to access a smart card using PC/SC failed, see 'systemctl status pcscd.service' for details.
