Doc Text:
With this update, the libvirt-qmf package obsoletes the libvirt-qpid package, which provided similar functionality. The new package uses the matahari library to provide an interface consistent with that of other Matahari agents. Note: After installation, it is advisable to convert existing QMF consoles, that previously connected to libvirt-qpid, to use libvirt-qmf as their interface. Also, when creating a new QMF console, it is recommended to use libvirt-qmf to communicate with libvirt.

Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2011:1636 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE new package: libvirt-qmf 2011-12-06 00:50:41 UTC

Description Perry Myers 2011-03-16 14:45:06 UTC
Description of problem:
libvirt-qpid is a bad name for this component, since it's not a generic qpid service, it's specifically a QMF Agent.

In addition to correcting the naming confusion, we should also utilize the common libraries provided by the matahari RPM so that we can tie libvirt-qmf into the matahari infrastructure (common config files, common routines for utilizing DNS SRV records)

Comment 3 Perry Myers 2011-07-18 19:31:05 UTC
This bug is for renaming an existing package from libvirt-qpid to libvirt-qmf

So moving to distribution component so that we can start the package add process
