Between SELinux refusing to grant access to the home directory and this lack of login for whatever reason. It's a no-go for me.

Sorry, I don't get that sentence.
Is this a fresh install or do you reuse you home? Did you try in permissive mode?
Please give me a version number. Which nightly was this? All my tests showed no problems.
The problem seems to be in Xdm or something.
Attaching lxdm.log for tonights load.

lxdm.log from failing attempts.
lxdm version 0.3.0-4.fc15.x86_64
nightly build 20110323.19 by Kevin Fenzi
Confirmed. It used to work before (until some time after Alpha) and I haven't touched the kickstart nor any of the LXDE components. Need to investigate.
Tested to work with F15 Beta TC1. I have no idea what it was, but is twas not in LXDE.
