Description Michal Ambroz 2011-03-22 02:26:09 UTC
Hello Huzaifa,
please could you bump the version of the openvas-libraries to openvas 4.
http://rebus.fedorapeople.org/SPECS/openvas-libraries.spec
http://rebus.fedorapeople.org/SRPMS/openvas-libraries-4.0.3-1.fc14.src.rpm

Best regards
Michal Ambroz

Comment 1 Stjepan Gros 2011-03-22 09:19:39 UTC
I uploaded SPEC and new source and build in koji fails. But the reason for failure is -Werror=unused-but-set-variable. Basically, this isn't an error but only an omission. There are two possible solutions:

1. patch to remove -Werror

2. patch source

Comment 2 Michal Ambroz 2011-03-23 01:49:37 UTC
Hello Stjepan,
this is some strict setting of the new gcc for F15 - I have decided rather to patch the source

here is the patch:
http://rebus.fedorapeople.org/SOURCES/openvas-libraries-notused.patch
http://rebus.fedorapeople.org/SPECS/openvas-libraries.spec
http://rebus.fedorapeople.org/SRPMS/openvas-libraries-4.0.3-2.fc14.src.rpm

Best regards
Michal Ambroz

Packages openvas-libraries is now updated and built in rawhide and the updates-testing for F15 and F14.

I have created ticket to Fedora Release Engeneering team to include library into buildroot for F14 and F15.

Engineering team has added openvas-libraries 4 to the buildroot.
I have rebuild the openvas-client and openvas-scanner packages and added them to updates for F15 and F14.
