---Problem Description---
GNOME boots up in 640x480 and uses openchrome device driver for display. Changing of 
resolution is not allowed in any way. The mouse cursor also looks distorted. The current 
known resolution is changing the device driver to fbdev

 After installation, GNOME desktop will display in resolution of 640x480 and not able to

Yes, Please keep us in the loop of the RHEL6.2 that has this fixed. we will verify it.

Tested in RHEL 6.2 Beta. The problem is still seen in this release.
