We are trying install RHEL 6.0 on a Clarion and we found that the installation fails when the user selects the lun presented by the storage. We ensured that the zoning and settings on the storage are standard and there are no issues anywhere else. However debugging further down, out of curiosity, we changed the hosttype mode to ALUA from A/P on the CX and to our surprise we were able to install. Question is, are A/P arrays supported on RHEL 6.0? If yes, are there any special instructions that needs to be followed? Note that the same setup works fine with RHEL 5.x I will attach some screenshots showing the issue.

Sounds like you tried to install to a "passive" (failover) LUN here.
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
I do not think that this is a bug, you just picked a bad lun to install to. ALUA mode hides by making the passive luns look like active ones. You will still have performance issues though, you should make sure to install to an active lun for your host. Thanks!
