Description Michal Jaegermann 2002-07-17 01:24:46 EDT
Description of Problem:

A run of mkinitrd from 'limbo' produces the following error messages:

find: /proc/scsi/usb-sto*: No such file or directory
basename: too few arguments
Try `basename --help' for more information.
find: /proc/scsi/usb-sto*: No such file or directory

A check if the first element from an expansion list is readable,
which can be done as a function 'have () { [ -r "$1" ]; }', allows
to skip conditionally such places without messing with glob rules.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mkinitrd-3.4.12-1
Comment 1 Erik Troan 2002-07-17 07:45:38 EDT
fixed in 3.4.14 and later
