Description Brian Wheeler 2011-03-23 20:38:26 UTC
Description of problem:

Evolution is very confused with IMAP data store:
* some times messages show up multiple times where only the 1st one works and the others announce they cannot be fetched
* new message count is often wrong (shows unread messages when there are none)
* order-received sorting no longer works -- messages are randomly ordered when no sort is selected

restarting evolution clears up the anomalies, except for the sorting issue.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

evolution.x86_64                              2.32.2-1.fc14             @updates
evolution-data-server.x86_64                  2.32.2-1.fc14             @updates
evolution-data-server-devel.x86_64            2.32.2-1.fc14             @updates
evolution-data-server-doc.noarch              2.32.2-1.fc14             @updates
evolution-help.noarch                         2.32.2-1.fc14             @updates
evolution-perl.x86_64                         2.32.2-1.fc14             @updates

How reproducible:

This seems to only happen with the remote server using:

* OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 LITERAL+ ID MUPDATE=mupdate://overlord.uits.indiana.edu/ STARTTLS LOGINDISABLED AUTH=GSSAPI SASL-IR COMPRESS=DEFLATE] claymore.uits.indiana.edu Cyrus IMAP Murder v2.3.16 server ready

and doesn't appear to be happening with the IMAP services provided by exchange.
