Description of problem: I would like to request a native 64-bit flash-plugin for x86_64 This is essentially a copy of bug 195285, except for this request is for RHEL 6

A stable 64-bit flash-plugin has been released so we should reconsider it. Especially when new Firefox 8 (supposed as a replacement for 3.6.x line) does not work completely with nspluginwrapper.
It should be included into Firefox and/or flash-plugin to properly handle dual-installation of Flash 32 and 64-bit

Closing as Adobe will no longer support flash in Firefox for Linux.
There is a flash-plugin.i686 distributed in rhel-x86_64-workstation-supplementary-6. This 32-bit plugin almost always fails on our x86_64 RHEL6 workstations. Adobe supplies a working 64-bit version. Could you please remove the non-working 32-bit flash-plugin from rhel-x86_64-workstation-supplementary-6 or supply the working 64-bit flash-plugin in rhel-x86_64-workstation-supplementary-6?
