Removing libmtp solve this problem, so problem is in libmtp. It seams that udev think this is a some kind of multimedia player and run mtp-probe.
Zoran thanks for your interest and help. Did you actually tested removing "libmtp"? I did not try to remove "libmtp" because in my box the following 29 packages had to also be removed due to dependency issues: AcetoneISO, AcetoneISO2, PyQt4, digikam, digikam-libs, hplip-gui, k3b, k3b-common, k3b-extras-freeworld, k3b-libs, kdebase, kdebase-libs, kdebase-runtime, kdebase-runtime-flags, kdebase-runtime-libs, kdeedu-marble, kdeedu-marble-libs, kdegraphics-libs, kdelibs, kdemultimedia-libs, kdenlive, kdepimlibs, phonon, phonon-backend-vlc, qt-recordmydesktop, qt-webkit, rhythmbox, vlc, vlc-core. Regards
Yes I do and as you noticed many packgaes depand on it so they have to be removed. I created ICC profile, but something else is broken in f15. ICC profile is applied but it's not working, no change i color. This sould be investigated but i'am currntly working something else, so I tempoarily manualy setted display. You could remove all packages, make profile and commit another bug for profile applying.
I had exactly the same issue and it was also solved by removing libmtp (and vlc-core and rhythmbox which depended upon it). The gnome-control-colour application still crashed on plugging in the Spyder3 but I was able to run dispcal manually to get a profile.
Ressigning to libmpt.
Please close this bug. It appears that some update solved the issue, The last calibration attempt was succesful. Regards,
Yes libmtp 1.1.1 specifically address this issue after fixing a bug report from Debian of the same issue, if it works for you, I'll close it now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you. Yes you may close it. It is working well.
